Our Approach to Drop-In Care

At The Bramble Patch Preschool, we get it—life can be unpredictable. That's why our drop-in days offer a flexible solution without compromising on quality or engagement. As an experienced Early Childhood Educator, I'm dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating, and joyful space where your child can thrive.

Every drop-in day is an opportunity for discovery! Your child will become a valued part of our small, intimate community, participating in a variety of age-appropriate, play-based activities. Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to promote skill progression and holistic development across all areas.

Your child's day will be filled with a gentle rhythm that includes:

  • Engaging Circle Time: A core part of our program, fostering social-emotional skills, language development, and a strong sense of belonging through songs, stories, and group activities.
  • Active Indoor & Outdoor Play: Ample time for active exploration, fresh air, and connecting with nature in our secure outdoor space (weather permitting).
  • Creative & Sensory Exploration: Materials and guidance for children to express themselves freely through art projects, imaginative play, and sensory experiences.
  • Nutritious Meals & Snacks: Healthy and delicious snacks are provided for all options, with a full lunch included for our Full Day program.

Our intimate at-home setting ensures personalized attention and fosters strong connections, aligning perfectly with our philosophy and approach to early learning.

Drop-In Care Options & Fees

Choose the option that best suits your family's needs:

  • Mornings Only: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (includes one nutritious snack) — $30
  • Full Day: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (includes a healthy lunch and two nutritious snacks) — $55

Important Booking Information

  • First Come, First Served: Drop-in dates are subject to availability and are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Advance Booking Required: To ensure we can provide the best possible care, all drop-in days must be booked in advance.
  • Intake Forms Essential: Before any dates can be approved, a completed intake sheet is required for each child. This vital step helps us understand your child's unique needs and interests.
  • Payment Secures Your Spot: Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your child's spot. Payments can be conveniently sent via e-transfer to bramblepreschool@gmail.com.
